About Chris

Meet Uniquely Chris!  When you learn his story, you’ll fall in love with this amazing guy like we did!  Chris is a 21 year old special needs young man who has the desire to give back to his community in any way he can.    

His story is deep and he has given permission for it to be shared.    As a baby, Chris was found living in homeless conditions.  Removed and placed in foster care, he was fortunate to be given to a family with 4 young kids, parents who had strength of steel, and love in abundance.  After having a 6 hour seizure, he became uniquely Chris.  He worked hard to walk, talk  and socialize. School was a challenge.  Reading and writing never emerged.  His strength and will did!  He would help anyone who needed it.   Chris was adopted into his big family in 2004, becoming the youngest of eight great kids.

 Chris began finding his passion.  First he loves to Macot at his high school.  As the lion he has been seen running around the school giving school spirit to anyone who sees him.    Second he discovered  art.  When a amazing art teacher entered his life, he developed skills and passions that have led us to today.    Tie dye he learned  at a special needs camp.  He started perfecting his style when encouraged by his ABA coach (another amazing woman).

 Chris and his desire to give back to his community, will make a donation to a group or project  helping Autism and People with Developmental Delays..
